He was completely silent yet his eyes spoke volumes. I could see the pain the swelled in those brown orbs. I could envision the battles he had faced, the lives he tried to spare, the guilt of those he had took, the stress of his position, the crude yet gentleness of his character, the love which he longed to share. So many things...so many things that swirled in those two dark eyes. So beautiful, yet so sorrowful. Worry began to shroud my face. "Lu Meng...what's wrong?"
I had never seen him scared, I had never seen him let his guard down, not even for a moment. He was always so strong, so impenetrable. But now, as I stood so close to this r
Quickly, quickly, here we go,
To the place that's dark below,
Here no light dare to flicker,
Down below where stones are thicker,
Down so deep that shadows die,
But here no creature yearns for sky,
Let the dark devour your soul,
And turn the flesh as black as coal,

The evening's chores done, I seated myself on the porch of my Bar-O ranch house. The newspaper was full of disturbing war news. I thanked God the war wasn't in this country. I tossed the paper aside, not wishing to fill my imagination with tragic events that I could not prevent. As I gazed out past the cattle barns, I noticed a black cloud not far off. Good, I thought, we haven't had rain in several weeks. The cloud grew darker, came closer. With a shock, it dawned on me! That's not rain. It was thick and massive, it cloaked the whole sky, everything in it's path turned to night. This wasn't normal, this couldn't be real! By now half th
My head ached when consciousness finally came back to me. The floor which I laid on was cold and hard like cement. I rolled onto my back. Every inch of my body was horrendously sore. I couldn't remember a thing, where I was, why I was here. Everything was such a blur. I pried opened my eyes only to have bright lights burn them like searing fire. My wrists were bound tightly with rough rope which dug itself into my flesh. I rolled back onto my side to relieve the aching pressure on my wrists.
Look who finally decided to wake up, came a sneering voice.
I heard a single pair of footsteps from a slightly different direction wal
She had just about finished her game of solitaire when she noticed the Queen of Hearts was missing. Thats odd, she thought, surely I just had that card. I looked around the table, and through the cards. Even on the floor. Mother, she called to her mother whom sat on the opposite side of the room in a large green comfortable chair with a book in hand. Hmm? came her mother, eyes still on the book. Have you seen the Queen of Hearts? Ive seemed to have magically lost it, she inquired.
Her mother looked over her spectacles to her distressed daughter. No, I cant say I have. Have you looke
Rock Lee had trained, trained as hard as he could. He had trained so much that sometimes he couldn't even get up he was so physically exhausted. They boy was constantly training. Becoming stronger, faster, better, and it was working. He was nearly the best martial arts master of the entire village, heck the entire country. But still, it wasn't good enough. He still hadn't reached what he truly wanted. And no, it wasn't to be Hokage like Naruto. It was of the smartest girl in the village and one of the prettiest as well. No matter how hard he tried he just couldn't get to her, she rejected him every time. "Maybe if I train hard enough I can wi

Maybe this is just me, but does the song "Imaginary" but Evanescence remind you of Kate's life during Hollow Kingdom, or at least when Marak is trying to kidnap her? Even a little? Maybe I'm just crazy. I've kinda thought it for a while and I was listening the song today.
Here are the lyrics:
"Aaah
Paper flowers
Aaah
Paper flowers
I linger in the doorway
Of alarm clock screaming monsters
Calling my name
Let me stay
Where the wind will whisper to me
Where the raindrops as they’re falling tell a story

It's that time of year again. The ball has fallen. The drinks have been drunk. The resolutions have been made. And it's time to save innocent lives once more.
Yes, it's time for the awesome March for Life. And this time it's more dangerous that ever before. Oh joy. Aren't we all just so excited to go to D.C. this year? But that's okay I'd go even if I had a broken limb and was having chronic pain. I'd go even if it meant death. That's the point. I'd give my life if it meant I could even save one unborn infant.
This year is so dangerous, as previously stated, because of this...oh how to put this lightly...different inauguration. I am not her
